4 Signs that Counseling would be Beneficial 

  1. You find you're unable to express your emotions and really feel connected to other people.

  2. You often feel out of control and you hear things like "get over it", "you're so emotional", or "you always overreact".

  3. People tell you they feel like they have to "walk on eggshells" when they're around you.

  4. You are afraid to eat certain foods, are scared of gaining weight, and often "feel fat".

Traditional face-to-face therapy is provided at the office in Greenville, NC. After a thorough diagnostic interview, we will develop a personalized plan of treatment together. Sessions last from one hour to one hour and 15 minutes and consist of skills training for the first half. The second half of the session involves discussing ways to apply the skills in your own life. We encourage weekly sessions, but monthly and bi-monthly options are available. You have access to a patient portal where you can schedule appointments and make payments to your account. One 30-minute messaging session in between appointments can also be scheduled. In addition to being available from 9am-5pm Monday through Friday, early evening/weekend sessions can generally be accommodated.
